Jessica Roy is 20 years old and a junior at New York University currently studying abroad in Paris until January 2009. She is co-founder of the blog Jess and Josh Talk About Stuff and has appeared in New York Magazine's Daily Intelligencer, 02138 Magazine and The Gallatin Review. She is a media blogger for NYU's online news source, NYU Local.

Jessica was raised in Philadelphia, where she interned with Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz, as well as The Philadelphia Inquirer. She has wanted to write professionally ever since penning her first story on a piece of construction paper entitled "Caroline's Chemistry Set." In the story, a little girl saves a plane from crashing by somehow pouring chlorine into the engine. This is ironic for two reasons: 1) Chemistry sets are in no way allowed on planes, and 2) Jessica is terrified of flying.

Jessica will return to New York in January to finish her degree at NYU and figure out if she really wants to pay for grad school.
