Jessica Wolff, MBA, MSN

Environmental Sustainability Advisor, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health

Jessica Wolff is currently the Environmental Sustainability Advisor at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health (D-HH), an academic health system serving patients across New England. She works with operational leaders and external partners to develop and drive the system’s environmental sustainability program across six domains -- built environment, energy and water, food, products and materials, transportation, and waste. Recognizing the fundamental connection between environmental and human health, Jessica is working to reduce the organization’s environmental footprint to support the health of D-HH’s patients, staff, and communities now and for generations to come.

Her position at D-HH is the culmination of a career path split between healthcare and environmental services. Jessica worked in healthcare as a women’s health nurse practitioner and health center director for many years. In 2009, she returned for her MBA in sustainability, and then held positions at Waste Management in their recycling and sustainability services. Prior to coming to D-HH, Jessica worked for the Healthier Hospitals Initiative, a 3-year campaign to accelerate the adoption of sustainability practices in hospitals nationwide. She has a degree in Environmental Studies from Oberlin College, a Master’s in Nursing from University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst.

As an environmentalist, business professional and former clinician, Jessica feels privileged to be working to improve the health of people and the planet.
