John Katovich

John Katovich is the founder of Cutting Edge Counsel and Cutting Edge Capital, both committed to fostering quadruple bottom line practices for business, non-profits, cooperatives and communities, and providing strategies for the new impact economy. John was General Counsel and Chief Regulatory Officer at two national stock and options exchanges, CEO of a NASDAQ regulatory subsidiary, and General Counsel for two private companies that raised over $400m. He also co-founded a Broker Dealer, Turnstone Securities, also focused on providing capital formation services to socially responsible businesses. John has taught capital markets and options trading courses at the Presidio Graduate School MBA program, University of California, Berkeley, and INSEAD, France. He holds Series 62 and 24 Licenses with NASD, and is licensed to practice law in the several state and federal district courts. John was a founding board member of Sustainable Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and is currently on the board of The Food Commons.
