Thyng, Jr. is a founding staff member of New Hampshire for Health Care, a project of SEIU and a part of Americans for Health Care, a national grassroots campaign pushing for quality, affordable health care for everyone. Thyng worked as the field director from 2002-2004, and became State Director after the 2004 Presidential Primary. Thyng is a former State Employees Association member.
