Joi Gordon is the Chief Executive Officer of Dress for Success Worldwide. Since joining the organization in 1999 and taking the helm in 2002, Joi has been devoted to establishing Dress for Success as a recognized leader in the economic and social development of disadvantaged women.

With global responsibility for more than 115 affiliates in 13 countries, Joi’s day-to-day duties include strategic organizational planning, new program development and implementation, board cultivation, resource development, brand fortification, and the maintenance of a welcoming place where disadvantaged women are empowered towards financial independence and self-defined success.

In recent years, a number of prominent institutions have recognized Joi for her achievements. In 2011 she was profiled in Crain’s New York Business, the Financial Times, and Black Enterprise magazine. She was also named among Working Mother magazine’s “Most Powerful Moms in Non-profit.”

Now serving more than 50,000 women globally each year, Dress for Success, under Joi’s vision and leadership has touched the lives of more than 600,000 women around the world and is still Going Places. Going Strong!
