Wildlife Conservation Society Vice President and Director of the WCS New York Aquarium
Jon Forrest Dohlin has been with the Wildlife Conservation Society since 1997. In January 2008, he was appointed Director of the WCS New York Aquarium in Coney Island, Brooklyn. He became a WCS Vice President in 2010. Both a biologist and an architect by training, Dohlin has worked at WCS as an Exhibit Designer and Project Manager in the Exhibition and Graphic Arts Department (EGAD) and in Capital Construction. He was involved in the design and planning of many award-winning exhibits at the Bronx Zoo and New York Aquarium, including the Congo Gorilla Forest, Alien Stingers, Tiger Mountain, Glover's Reef, and Madagascar! Dohlin received his degree in Biology from Humboldt State University and holds a Masters in Architecture from Parsons School of Design. At the aquarium, he is overseeing the construction of a new state-of-the-art shark exhibit and renovation of the main hall.
