Jonathan Brand’s work has been exhibited internationally in galleries and museums including The Bronx Museum of the Arts, The Queens Museum of Art, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Martha Otero Gallery Los Angeles, Hosfelt Gallery New York, NURTUREart New York, Projective City and Gallerie de Roussan Paris France, The Propeller Center for the Arts Toronto. His work has been reviewed and featured in numerous publications, including The New York Times, ARTnews, The Brooklyn Rail, The Toronto Star, The Daily Mail, The Telegraph, Coolhunting, Boing Boing, Make Magazine, as well as other publications and catalogs. His collaborative work has been shown in the Venice Architecture Biennale, The Bronx Museum, New York City’s DOT Summer Streets and Urban Art Programs, the New Museum’s Festival of Ideas. He is a recipient of multiple Canada Council for the Arts Project grants, a Roberts Foundation Grant, Connecticut Commission for the Arts Grant, a Sculpture Space Residency, The Artists in the Marketplace Residency at the Bronx Museum of the Arts. He received his BA from The University of Guelph, Ontario Canada and an MFA from Yale University. He lives and works in New Haven, Connecticut.
