Jonathan Ruppin is Web Editor for Foyles Bookshops in the UK, where he has worked for ten years, with for five years as a bookseller for Dillons; his specialist area is contemporary fiction. He has been on the judging panel for a number of literary awards, including the Costa Novel Award and the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize, and regularly chairs literary events at Foyles and elsewhere.
He has reviewed and blogged for a wide range of print and online publications and regularly comments on books and the book trade on radio and television. He is also a member of the Editorial Committee of the journal, New Books in German. He has previously worked for two literary agents and one publisher.
