Joseph R. Blasi is the J. Robert Beyster Distinguished Professor at the Rutgers University School of Management of Labor Relations. He is the author of many books and articles on broad-based employee ownership and profit sharing, most recently, The Citizen's Share: Reducing Inequality in the 21st Century (Yale University Press) and the DC third Way.org think tank policy report, Having a Stake: Evidence and Implications for Broad-based Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing, both written with Richard Freeman of Harvard and Douglas Kruse of Rutgers. Blasi is an economic sociologist with a doctorate in education from Harvard University.
