She is an ICMA credentialed manager and has worked in city management in several communities in the State of Michigan and Illinois. She has worked as a City Manager, Assistant City Manager or Township Manager for Jackson, Saginaw, Inkster and Buena Vista Charter Township in Michigan. She has also served as a City Manager for Elgin, Illinois.
