Julian Monroe Fisher is an explorer, an Anthropologist, an Ethnographic documentary filmmaker, a published author, a Fellow with The Royal Geographical Society in London, an International Fellow with The Explorers Club in New York City and a member of The American Anthropological Association. Between 2007 and 2014 he conducted six Explorers Club flag sanctioned research expeditions to the African continent. Originally from the US state of South Carolina, Monroe is a graduate of Appalachian State University and now lives in Wilmington, North Carolina with his family.
