High school senior in Orange County
Julianna Joss is a senior at the Orange County School of the Arts in Santa Ana, California, where she is the Student Director of the Classical and Contemporary Dance Conservatory. She is currently the Governor of Southern California and Chairwoman of the National Council of Governors in the Junior State of America (JSA), a student-run political organization whose mission is to strengthen American democracy by educating high school students. Julianna has participated in a Student Advisory Board on Education and spoken directly to the California State Board of Education regarding No Child Left Behind. She is the also the founder and president of Dance 2 Your Door, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization and No Expiration Date for Those Need, another nonprofit organization that has collected over $1.5 million in pharmaceutical samples and donated them to clinics in impoverished areas of Haiti, Mexico, and Guatemala. Committed to political activism and artistic expression, she hopes to study International Relations and Dance in college.
