Respected for her passion, style and ground-breaking creativity, Jung Lee has become one of the most sought-after wedding and event producers in the U.S. and worldwide. Since founding her company Fete in 2002, Jung has starred on her own television show Wedded to Perfection and authored Fete: The Wedding Experience, which shares her modern approach with readers while taking them through a series of her weddings.

Lee entered the event planning industry because she felt strongly that events all felt so similar and could be much more interesting. She has a fresh approach to event planning. The results are events that are not just visually stunning, but acclaimed for being personal and truly reflective of the host. Sophisticated New Yorkers immediately connected with her unique approach and she quickly became their event planner of choice. Her reputation has spread and she is now hired to produce and design incredible events around the world.

Lee was born in Seoul, South Korea but moved to New York when she was 5 years old. After graduating from New York University, she immediately set out to transform the typical New York corner deli.

In 1995, she oversaw the design, construction and launch of high-end gourmet food stores in Manhattan. She hired talented young chefs and was the first to offer gourmet foods in the salad bar format. Quickly recognized as the best salad bar in New York, it became the model for new deli/food stores opening throughout the city. She then set out on building high-end residential real estate development just outside New York City, where she learned honed her design, sourcing and production skills. Soon after, she decided to take on the event planning business.

Jung currently lives in New York with her husband, Josh Brooks, and two children.
