Recent GWU Grad, AmeriCorps alum, and Rookie Teacher passionate about reforming our education system
Kara McFadden is a graduating senior majoring in Economics and International Affairs at George Washington University and an alumna of City Year New York, an AmeriCorps program. After graduation, she will return to New York City as a teacher through Teach for America. She hopes to reform our public education system and inspire other young people to better themselves and their communities through service. In her free time, Kara enjoys teaching yoga and visiting her family in Pittsburgh, PA.
