Karen Dukess

Karen Dukess has been a tour guide in the Soviet Union, a newspaper reporter and editor in Florida and Russia, the marketing director for Men’s Health magazine, a book reviewer for USA Today and is now a communications consultant for the United Nations — none of which prepared her to be the mother of two teen-aged boys. At home, she is not only driver, maid, cook and back-scratcher, but is that tree in the forest: she knows she is talking, but as no one is listening, she's not sure if she is making any noise.
