Founder, Practice Makes Perfect

Karim Abouelnaga is an entrepreneur, writer, public speaker and investor. He is the founder of Practice Makes Perfect, a nonprofit that works to narrow the achievement gap by providing low-income students with mentorship and resources that are beyond the reach of their inner-city public schools.

After graduating from the New York City public school system, Karim secured more than $300,000 in scholarships and awards to make his college education possible, and was a Rewarding Achievement Scholar in high school and a New York Needs You Fellow in college. Karim graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration and is a 2013 Echoing Green Fellow.
