Karla del Rosal is an Assistant Professor of Bilingual Education at Southern Methodist University's Simmons School of Education and Human Development. Karla recently earned a Ph.D. in Education in the Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity program at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her main research interests are academic language and literacy development of English language learners in mathematics and science classrooms and teacher education and professional development for content teachers who teach this growing student population.
