Karthick Ramakrishnan

Professor of public policy, expert on immigration, race & politics, Latinos and Asian Americans

Karthick Ramakrishnan is Professor and Associate Dean at the School of Public Policy, University of California, Riverside, and Global Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington DC. He has written many books and articles on immigration and civic engagement, and these can be found on his website (http://karthick.com).

Ramakrishnan directs the National Asian American Survey and is founder of AAPIdata.com, which seeks to make policy research on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders more accessible to a variety of audiences. Ramakrishnan received his Ph.D. in Politics from Princeton University, and a B.A. in International Relations from Brown University.
