Katharine Emmer is a graduate of New York University where she was the recipient of the Tisch Artistic Achievement Award. She's appeared on ABC’s DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES and Nickelodeon’s THE NAKED BROTHERS BAND. Katharine made her feature film debut in PUCCINI FOR BEGINNERS, which was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. She originated the role of Marie Romanov in Atlantic Theater Company’s Off-Broadway play, OTMA. In addition to NYU, Katharine studied at the Guthrie Theatre and Yale University. Katharine's directorial feature film debut, LIFE IN COLOR, was an official selection of South by Southwest 2015 where it had its world premiere. Katharine also wrote, produced, edited and starred in the film. The film won the Best of Fest - Prix D’Or Award at the Lower East Side Film Festival in New York City and the Special Jury Prize at the Napa Valley Film Festival.
