Katje Vanden Heuvel

Dynamic, driven, branding and communications professional, 
passionate about affecting positive change

Katje serves as Communications Manager, Education, Social and Economic Development at the international development organization, FHI 360 (www.fhi360.org). Before joining FHI 360, Katje was a Senior Engagement Manager for a branding and communications consultancy in New York — Tenet Partners. In that role, she led communications strategy, planning and implementation and also drove business development efforts for a range of clients, including the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), St. John’s University, The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, and IBM. Katje partnered closely with clients across industry sectors — both private and public — analyzing industry trends and competitive landscapes to develop new means of achieving strategic communications goals.

Katje has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Business, with concentrations in French and International Studies from Penn State University. After earning her degree, Katje spent three years in Paris completing coursework in French language and business.
