Kitty Xie

Though I dream of living and learning in New York City, at the moment I'm a junior at a high school in the Greater Houston area. I'm primarily surrounded by ideas from novels, figure skating videos, and Broadway show tunes, but people do occasionally drop in to see how I'm doing. Aside from journalism, a recent hobby, creative writing in the form of short stories is how I express my desire to see worlds that never were. Honesty and clarity are my main writing goals; I like to think that I'm a good writer, although judging by some of the blog posts I've read on this site, I still have a long way to go.
