Kathy is a Partner and Co-founder of Strategy 2 Market (www.strategy2market.com) a product development consulting firm that helps clients increase profit and decrease complexity. She has over 30 years of experience with Fortune 100 companies specializing in market and customer research, strategy, business processes and models. For the past 15 years she has advised Strategy 2 Market clients in developing innovation, product, technology, and market strategies, portfolio management, the fuzzy front end of product development, and flexible and lean process techniques. She has an MS in Statistics from Carnegie-Mellon University. She also has an MBA from The University of Chicago. She is a long-standing board member of the Chicago Chapter of the American Statistical Association, served as Vice-Chair and Chair of the American Statistical Association Council of Chapters. She is a member of the Product Development & Management Association and certified New Product Development Professional. Kathy was a Faculty Coach for the University of Chicago New Product Development, Market Research and Intellectual Property Lab courses. She completed the Lean Launch Pad Educators Seminar through the National Collegiate Inventors & Innovators Alliance (NCIIA) at the University of California, Berkeley. Kathy is currently co-authoring a book with her business partner, on a new way to develop products called Exploratory Product Development (ExPD).
