Assistant Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Child Study Center, Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone

Lara Brodzinsky, Psy.D., is an Attending Psychologist on the Pediatric Integrated Behavioral Health Team, and Assistant Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Child Study Center, part of Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone. As a pediatric psychologist, she works on an interdisciplinary team within the medical setting, providing psychological services to youth with chronic medical illnesses presenting with behavioral health concerns. Dr. Brodzinsky also participates in the faculty group practice at the Child Study Center where she sees individuals and families presenting with a variety of mental health difficulties. Across both settings, she works with gender nonconforming and transgender youth as part of the Gender and Sexuality Service at the Child Study Center, as well as through the Adolescent Medicine Clinic at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital. Dr. Brodzinsky is an active member of the Association for Advancement for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, the American Psychological Association, and the New York State Psychological Association.
