Larry Irving is the CEO of the Irving Group, a consulting firm that provides strategic advice to technology and telecommunications companies, non-profit organizations and foundations. Prior to founding the Irving Group he served as Assistant Secretary of Commerce and the Administrator of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration where he served as a principal internet and telecommunications policy advisor to the Clinton-Gore Administration. He is widely credited with initially identifying the “Digital Divide” and sparking global interest in the issue.
