Laura Butler

President and CEO, WorkLife for Women

Laura is an entrepreneur, public speaker and WorkLife motivational coach and consultant. Along with being the President of WorkLife for Women, an enterprise guiding women in finding their WorkLife voice, she is also the CEO of WorkLife Performance Consulting, LLC.

Laura’s experience in a variety of industries including health care, educational enrichment and customer service, gives her a multifaceted perspective that cuts across all industries to provide out of the box, creative and inventive solutions to everyday struggles. Her presentation and communication skills were developed by observing and working with her father, who was the voice of NBC Nightly News for 30 years in New York City.

Laura’s multifaceted assignments in the healthcare industry have included the management of a residency training program at New York Hospital/Cornell University Medical Center as well as a full spectrum of medical office management services for several medical practice specialties. Laura and her team at WorkLife Performance Consulting, LLC, provide executive and team coaching and have created customized performance management programs, for such clients as IBM, Pennsylvania Power & Light, United Technologies, Medical Mutual, Prudential Insurance, NETJETS, Mobil Oil and Sony Music. Laura is a member of the International Coach Federation, and is a certified consultant in the use of the Birkman Method, a comprehensive methodology for human understanding and organizational performance.

Laura also donates her time and supports several local and international organizations that promote women’s entrepreneurship.
