Lauren Levy

Lauren Levy is a third-year law student at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She is a double Gator, having graduated from the University of Florida in 2011 with a B.S. in journalism and a B.A. in Jewish Studies. Before entering law school, she worked as a political intern at various policy think tanks in the Washington D.C. area. Lauren is originally from Miami, FL, and comes from a truly multicultural family extending from the Caribbean to the U.K. She currently serves as the president of the UF Jewish Law Students Association and as a substitute religious school teacher in Gainesville, FL. She is a passionate advocate for civil rights and community advocacy on behalf of marginalized populations. In her spare time, she enjoys good books, coffee dates with friends, and weekend girls’ nights consisting of Hulu/Netflix re-runs and wine.
