Lauren Ileana Sotolongo

Writer and Faith Advocate

Lauren Ileana Sotolongo lives in Washington, DC, where she thinks in poems and speaks in 90s pop songs. She received her degree in English Writing from Azusa Pacific University, moved to the East Coast shortly after, and is now the head coffee roaster at a local roastery (to pay bills and caffeinate her roommates). One day, she hopes to attend seminary, though as a millennial she cannot say for sure. As a Queer, Cuban American Writer, her work touches on questions of faith, identity, and justice. You can find her poems and musings on Instagram @laurensotolongo.
