Laurent left his native France as soon as he began working full-time, he has lived in seven countries and traveled to over one hundred. The first ten years of his career were spent with global corporate giants Michelin and News Corporation where he was part of the in-house M&A team at Star TV in Hong-Kong before he launched a satellite delivered multi-channel Pay-TV platform for Indonesia. Laurent eventually came back to his entrepreneurial roots (he had opened a bookstore as a teenager) and co-founded Tablet (TabletHotels.com) - one of the most respected global travel lifestyle brands - from New York City. Laurent recently launched his own Champagne label “Maison Vernhes” (MaisonVernhes.com) in the US to rave reviews from NYC’s top sommeliers. Laurent Vernhes is a graduate of Supélec, Insead and is an HBS OPM Alumni.
