The Tribute WTC Visitor Center in lower Manhattan welcomes an average of 500,000 visitors annually. Board President Lee Ielpi, a retired New York City firefighter who cofounded the center with Jennifer Adams, lost his son, Firefighter Jonathan Ielpi, on September 11th. Lee is dedicated to communicating the need for understanding the history of 9/11 accurately and educating young people to create a more peaceful world.
