Lelanie Basson is a best-selling author, entrepreneur and boardmember, ‘even though she’s a girl’.

She is the founder of the Twafiika Group of Companies, established in 2009 - offering services ranging from strategic business counsel, governance, international marketing , communications, special events and retail product development. She is published in the fields of International Marketing as well as Consumer Buyer Behaviour. Lelanie is a best selling author with the release of her debut co-authored book 20BeautifulWomen: Africa Edition, reaching #1 best -seller in Women’s Help, Motivation and Spiritual Healing. http://www. 20beautifulwomen.com/lelanie-basson/ She is an MBA graduate who facilitates and lectures in the fields of Strategic Management, Creativity, International Marketing, Marketing Principles, Online Marketing, Communications, Strategic Business Management, Financial Education , Marketing for Financial Services, Intercultural Communications & Negotiations and other soft skills areas. She is also a founding member of the Institute of Corporate Governance (Namibia) and affiliated business partner to the Institute for Advancement of Journalism in South Africa. She has served on a number of Boards throughout the years. Currently serving as Chairperson at Positive Vibes a Namibian registered Trust operating nationally since 2008 and in the SADC region since 2012. The Trust has grown significantly with offices now in South Africa and running numerous human-rights projects across Africa. She was also selected as interim Vice-Chairperson to the Marketing Association of Namibia and The Marketing Curriculum Advisory Board: The Namibian University of Science and Technology. Lelanie was co-organiser to TEDx events in Namibia - TEDxWindhoek and TEDxSwakopmund, whilst mentoring the youth team organising TEDxUniversityOfNamibia.
