Leo Hoar
Ph.D. candidate in English literature, U.C. Irvine; co-founder, Veterans College Bound
Leo has been teaching at the University of California, Irvine, for five years while pursuing a Ph.D. in English literature. In addition to teaching both introductory and advanced courses in writing and literature, he has extensive experience advising students as they navigate academic and career opportunities. Prior to UCI, Leo served as a director of corporate and government relations at the College of Mount Saint Vincent. He completed a Master's degree in English at Fordham University, and a B.A. in Government and English at Georgetown University.
