Leslie is currently a junior in college. She is attending school through the Golden Door Scholars Program, a program designed to help undocumented students continue their education. She was born in Guatemala and moved to the U.S. when she was 7 years old. She aims to use her experience to open the eyes of those who have not been exposed to the life of an undocumented person in the U.S., and their day-to-day lives.
