Lilly Barels

Lilly Barels can't decide what box to check, so she tries it all. She graduated from UCLA with degrees in both Neuroscience and World Dance. The science major spurred her pursuit of medicine, but she found herself in Hawaii as a high school math teacher instead. Lilly evolved her love of dance into an intense passion for yoga and instructs funky vinyasa flow on the North Shore of Oahu. She is completing an MFA in Creative Writing and just finished her debut novel, but spends most of her time chasing her wild two-year-old son and dog that looks like a wombat.
