President, Martha’s Table

Lindsey Buss is the President of Martha’s Table. For over 30 years, Martha’s Table has been finding solutions to poverty in the short term with food and clothing programs and in the long term by breaking the cycle of poverty with nationally accredited education programs and family support services. Martha’s Table impact is enhanced through its partnerships with 200 other non-profits and the invaluable assistance of over 10,000 volunteers a year.

Lindsey is a member of the 2009 Class of Leadership Greater Washington and a winner of the Eugene and Agnes Meyer Foundation Exponent Award for nonprofit leaders. He is a founder and board member of the DC Alliance of Youth Advocates, a coalition of over 100 local youth service providers.

Prior to joining Martha’s Table in 2000, Lindsey was an attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher for seven years. Lindsey was also the board chair of Rachael’s Women’s Center, a support center for homeless women.
