Louise M. Guido is the CEO and Managing Partner of ChangeCorp, a social enterprise that provides content solutions for mobile technology in emerging markets. ChangeCorp targets a growing population of ‘mobile-only-users’ offering educational content in life skills, communication skills, financial literacy, health, parenting and business. Its main focus is on women’s empowerment through the mobile apps that offer a learning model to maximize impact and effectiveness.

ChangeCorp’s flagship content channel, The SmartWoman Project, provides daily messages to urban and rural women business-owners on a variety of topics, including life and communication skills, banking and finance, health, family, and work/life balance. The content channel launched last year on Nokia’s Life Tools platform, for example, and today serves more than 50,000 women business-owners in Nigeria and Indonesia. ChangeCorp, in conjunction with its non-profit partner, Foundation for Social Change, created the eLife Tablet for Teachers providing valuable life and communication skills, financial literacy, business and entrepreneurship skills for teachers to use and infuse in their day classes. The program originated as an after-school curriculum for girls; and is currently taught in schools in Colombia (Fundacion Pies Descalzos, founded by Shakira), Kashmir, Pakistan (Marshall Direct Fund), Rwanda, Ethiopia and Peru reaching over 20,000 women and girls.

Ms. Guido also is the founder of the Foundation for Social Change – a not-for-profit organization that focuses on teaching women and girls life and business skills training. Each year the Foundation hosts the Global Conference for Social Change with the United Nations.

Ms. Guido has over 30 years of publishing and marketing experience with some of the world’s most recognizable publications, including: The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, House Beautiful and Town & Country magazines. Ms. Guido launched a successful international publishing company called, Living Abroad. As a guidebook for expatriate executives, Living Abroad, features day-to-day living details about 185 countries including the culture, housing, education, taxes, insurance, etc, Over 100 companies subscribe to Living Abroad’s Web service. www.livingabroad.com.

Ms. Guido was graduated from Seton Hall University with a B.A. in Communication Arts.
