Luca De Fraia is ActionAid’s Deputy Director in Italy. He is an expert on aid, development cooperation and global governance. De Fraia follows most G8 meetings globally, liaising with governments on issues relating to poverty and works with a large network of aid agencies and campaigns groups across the globe. Prior to ActionAid, he coordinated the Italian campaign Drop the debt-Sdebitarsi as part of the Jubilee 2000 network and was a member of the antiapartheid movement, supporting the African National Congress in Rome in the Eighties.
