Magally Zelaya

Multimedia Journalist

Magally Zelaya is a Canadian multimedia journalist covering global development stories. She has reported from seven countries and her freelance work has appeared on CBC Radio, The Guardian and the Toronto Star. Magally used to work for the CBC in Vancouver as a television news writer and reporter. She left that job after winning a grant from Canada's International Development Research Centre to make a documentary about mining in Papua New Guinea. She holds a master's degree in journalism from the University of British Columbia.
