Mark Phillips

Mark Phillips is a former high school teacher and teacher educator, at University of California Santa Barbara and San Francisco State. Now retired, he volunteers with the California Film Institute's Educational Outreach Program, and serves on the Board of the Buck Institute for Education. He's a regular blogger at Edutopia.org, as well as a columnist on education for the Marin Independent Journal and the Washington Post's "The Answer Sheet."
