Marsha Hayes lives and writes from her Southeast Kansas home. Living in Kansas, she is fascinated with the urban environment, but rooted in the rural. Horses, dogs, barn cats, along with generations of family complete her life. After a career as a rural mail carrier, she returned to academia as a Communication Instructor at Independence Community College in Independence, Kansas. When not attempting to comprehend the wounded psyches of community college students, she rides her horses and competes in Competitive Trail events.
