Marvin Centeno

Marvin E. Centeno is born to Salvadoran migrant parents in Los Angeles, and raised in El Salvador. In 2009, Marvin traveled to the U.S. seeking a better future for him and his family: his two sisters, his mother, and his father. He graduated from Roosevelt HS in the Boyle Heights community of LA. He later applied to college and was accepted to UC Santa Cruz where he is involved with various grassroots organizations and local Santa Cruz Latino organizations. He is a committed student for social justice and change.
