Mary Hinkle Shore is pastor of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Brevard. Mary grew up in Ohio and began ordained ministry in North Dakota. After receiving a Ph. D. in New Testament and Christian Origins from Duke University, she taught New Testament at Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN, for many years. Last summer, she returned to North Carolina and to parish ministry.
