Mateo Hurtado Statz

Mateo is currently a sophomore at SDSU, double majoring in Multi-media art and English. Born and raised in San Diego, Mateo is excited to blog for the Huffington Post. He's a writer the Aztec Literary Review and is a long time member of SDSU Intervarisity. When not honing his drawing and writing skills, he divides his spare time cooking, playing volleyball, and crying over fictional characters who didn't deserve their plights. When on campus, he can often be found in SDSU's art department, the Love Library, or spacing out by the bird-of-paradise flowers by Hepner Hall, wondering what he was thinking of half a second ago.
