Founder and Operator, Newcastle Prep
Matthew Kandel is the founder and operator of Newcastle Prep, offering online coaching from Ivy League tutors. He taught high school math and economics in the South Bronx as part of Teach for America and was chairman of his school’s math department. Matthew graduated in 2009 from Princeton University with an A.B. in Economics. He studied at Fordham University for an M.S. in Teaching and will attend Harvard Business School next year.
