Maya Ziswiler

Maya Ziswiler is Program Director in the areas of education and early childhood development at the UBS Optimus Foundation.

Maya Ziswiler is Program Director in the areas of education and early childhood development at the UBS Optimus Foundation.

She has a strong history of managing and developing education and health projects in Asia, Africa and Latin America, as well as building successful partnerships with donors.

Maya joined the UBS Optimus Foundation after several years at the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, where she was responsible for managing public-private partnerships for programs in Africa and the Caribbean. She initially worked on early childhood development programs for UNICEF in Peru and in marketing for Procter & Gamble in the Middle East. Her experience in Asia includes consulting work for a China-based non-profit organization.

Maya holds a degree in International Development from McGill University and an MBA from the University of Geneva. She speaks English, French, Spanish, German and Mandarin.
