Meena Krishnamurthy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy and in the Program in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Michigan. The underlying theme that runs through her work is a concern with equality (political, economic, and social). She is the author of numerous papers in democratic theory and global justice. She is currently writing a series of related papers on the work of radical political thinkers such as Martin Luther King Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi. She is also the editor of the blog Philosopher (https://politicalphilosopher.net) which showcases work by philosophers from underrepresented groups in philosophy.
