Meta Wagner

Meta is the author of What's Your Creative Type? (Seal Press, April 2017), a freelance writer, and a professor at Emerson College and BU.

Meta Wagner is the author of What’s Your Creative Type?: Harness the Power of Your Artistic Personality (Seal Press and Blackstone Audio, April 2017). She is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in Huffington Post, Boston Globe Opinion pages, Salon, Boston Globe Magazine, Chicago Tribune, Wall Street Journal custom content, and Christian Science Monitor. She originated the “Vox Pop” column for the online magazine PopMatters and wrote the column for several years. Meta is an adjunct professor at Emerson College and Boston University, teaching creative writing, communications writing, and first-year liberal arts seminars. She has also taught at Wheelock College and Grub Street, the largest literary arts center in the country. In her former career in public relations and marketing, she received six awards for writing for corporate and non-profit clients. She holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Emerson College and a B.A. from Brown University.
