Michael W. Beck is the lead marine scientist for The Nature Conservancy, a Pew Marine Fellow, and a researcher at the University of California, Santa Cruz where he is based. Beck’s works focuses on the links between disaster risk reduction, climate adaptation, and environmental restoration.
