Miranda Levenstein

Miranda Levenstein is an unrepentant, neurotic sweet tooth. She's never met a cookie she didn’t like, she thinks apples are overrated, she's freaked out by gelatin, went to pastry school and she's never used a mix. The first thing she ever baked was a chocolate chip cookie pie, she was three and it cooked by the light bulb of her Suzy Homemaker oven. The most recent thing she's baked, when she was a lot more than three, is whatever she's writing about. And in between she's been feeding others, and calming herself, with more desserts than she can count. The moral of her story? Butter, flour, sugar and eggs are better than Xanax.
