Miribel Tran

Miribel Tran is a junior at Marina High School who is passionate about global health, neuroscience, and female empowerment. She is actively involved at the regional and district level of Cal-Nev-Ha KIWIN'S and is the founder of her regional Science National Honor Society, leading several leadership conferences to help students explore the many fields of science. Miribel Tran is a sponsored neuroscience research intern who is currently conducting a study on the cognitive performance in schizophrenic and bipolar disorder patients in hopes of improving the process of diagnosing these two mental illnesses. In addition, Miribel is a national youth ambassador for VolunTEEN Nation, Her Campus, Her Culture, and Neo Students.
