Mara Shapshay is a former serial dieter, writer, journalist, advocate and stand up comedienne. She has a BFA in directing from NYU and an MFA in writing from The American Film Institute. She is a stand up comic who performs regularly at The Comedy Store, Improv, Laugh Factory and many other venues. Mara has been working in the entertainment industry for over 15 years. She’s worked on the following sitcoms: FRIENDS, South Park, That’s My Bush, Jesse, Veronica’s Closet, Ladies Man and Inside Schwartz.
